Dressing Room Diaries: NSale Edition

Unless you’ve been on a social media hiatus, I’m sure you’re aware that the once-yearly Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full effect for Early Access. If you don’t have a Nordstrom Card, tomorrow (July 22nd) is the day you’ve been waiting for when when the NSale officially opens to the public! If you’re a card-holder, now is your last chance to get your first dibs and if you’re not, it’s time to prepare and get your wish-list ready! Once the sale is live to everyone, popular items will sell out fast.

I shared what I had my eye on last week and this week, wanted to fill you in on what I actually purchased so far. I had originally intended on sharing one post but it was a too picture-heavy so instead, I’ll be breaking it up into two

parts, one today and one tomorrow. Please keep in mind that I’m not necessarily keeping everything (so I say now) but because items sell out pretty quickly (R.I.P. waterfall vest that was so rudely whisked out of my shopping cart), my motto for this sale is “buy now, think later” (thank goodness for free shipping and free returns!). If there is something that I’m debating or in between sizes, I’d rather have the opportunity to decide and try on than miss out. As a side note, my Nordie’s associate told me that items do get re-stocked for the public access date so tomorrow may be the perfect time for you and me to grab those pieces that sold out immediately (c’mon, waterfall vest!)

I personally find it pretty difficult to shop online because it’s tough to tell what the items realistically look like, how they fit, what the quality is like, etc.. As such, I thought it’d be fun to share me trying some things on. Today’s post is what I tried on in-store and tomorrow’s will focus more on pairing together what I got as my online order comes in. Please excuse the photo quality- the fitting room wasn’t one of those with a cute neutral backdrop or great lighting…hello red patterned carpet, gold walls, and fluorescent lighting. I also went over there in workout clothes from the gym so let’s just look past the leggings in select photos too, mmkay? (I was feeling up to heading over there to begin with so we’ll chalk that up to a success in itself! Small steps.) Okay, here we go…

Be sure to check back in tomorrow to see what else I got, how I style these items, and what’s on my wish list for the second half of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! What are your favs from the NSale? I’d love to hear what you snagged below! As always, thanks for reading.

I’m with you on hoping few things get restocked…hello that white lace-hem Leith top! & about 4 other things. Also, I ordered 6 more items today because I didn’t want the ‘public’ to steal them from me. I’m a mess. SAVE ME. LOVEEE how you did this dressing room diaries overview!!

Is it bad that I have so much to return that the thought of it almost makes me want to keep it all? I’m not even going to tell you how many Nordstrom notes I earned and being every $20 is $1k spent- I may just sell an arm or leg instead. I never got the waterfall vest so I guess it wasn’t meant to be. I’ll just have to swoon over everyone else wearing it! The cold shoulder sweater was one of my favs, although the contrast highlighted the stark paleness of my shoulder haha. So happy you enjoyed this post, green lighting, gold walls and all. Thanks for the support GF. Once I’m done here I’m heading over to you to catch up next! xo
